Laserfiche supports hundreds of scanners that utilize the ISIS driver scanner interface. A comprehensive list of scanners can be found here. Even though a scanner is listed, please contact tech support before purchasing to ensure compatability and current level of support.
No. Once a page has been scanned to Laserfiche there is no way to alter the image. An imaging system should not provide any method for altering an images once it has been saved. This is also why Laserfiche does not use shared network drives. At no time does a user have direct access to the images once they have been scanned.
Electronic documents (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, etc.) can indeed be edited. Depending the security model in place electronic documents can be updated, new revisions created or they can be protected in the same manner as a scanned image.

The tentative release data for Laserfiche 7.0 is August 30th. Upon final release of 7.0, R&S will conduct extensive testing on the release version and consult with other Laserfiche dealers as to their experiences before we upgrade any of out current installations
Each agenda management product, Agenda Manager and Easy Agenda, fill different needs for agenda users. Agenda Manager is tightly integrated with the Laserfiche product suite while Easy Agenda is completely independent of Laserfiche or any other imaging products.
