The current method that many government agencies follow today to repeatedly generate a comprehensive agenda package for their regularly scheduled meetings, such as City Council or County Commission meetings is a tedious, manually intensive process. As is true with any manual process, it provides ample possibilities for inaccuracies, schedule slippages, and other human-generated errors. An easy solution for agenda management is a must in today's high-tech world.
A simple, yet elegant and robust solution for automating agendas and the various processes that are a part of any routine agenda creation challenge (calendaring, submittal of new items, approval process, production and publishing of the agenda, capture and inclusion of minutes, etc), is long overdue.
R&S has recognized this challenge and has designed a software application to automate the agenda creation process while allowing users to continue working in the same fashion and with the same familiar office software tools as they use today. Since the new agenda process is automated electronically, there is also no longer a need to print the agenda and then scan it into a document management system for archival and public access purposes.
The Solution: EasyAgenda
The Future has arrived! No more rushing to print countless hard copies of an agenda before a meeting or struggling to maintain a uniform look and feel for your documents. What used to take days to prepare is now available to you and your workgroup or to the world in a matter of minutes!
EasyAgenda has been designed from the ground up to provide the automation and management tools for today’s complex agendas. Using feedback from users across a wide range of government clients, the design focused on ensuring that this new tool would address the varied needs of users without forcing a major change in the way that people are already working.
